Summary

Beginning April 1, 2011, consumer-type waste bags on Beaver Island were to be charged at a uniform rate of three dollars per bag. The March Beacon says the change was intended to remove staff judgments about perceived bag size.

Evidence limits

This is the newspaper’s announcement of the rule change, not the committee’s adopted fee schedule or a later implementation record.
