Summary
By November 1962, Karl Kuebler had cleared woods around the Beaver Island Airport parking area, built up the access road, and was widening the north–south runway. The Beacon credits him with doing much of the work using his truck and reports nearly 400 registered planes for the year.
Evidence and limits
The report documents work and newspaper estimates, not an engineering survey, airport log, funding record, or completed runway project.
