At the end of 2015, Beaver Island Forum members compiled a year-in-remembrance thread for people they described as island residents, island relations, or long-time visitors who had died during or around the year. Replies expanded the list and expressed condolences.
The thread is useful as a community index and cross-check for individual death records, but it is not an official memorial list and does not independently establish each name, relationship, or date.
