A panorama of the marina and harbor on Lake Charlevoix in downtown Charlevoix, Michigan — the lake Strang’s followers called Lake Mormon and earlier maps and charts labeled Pine Lake. The photograph shows the lake as it is used today, not as it stood in the 1850s.
