A stone memorial standing in Lough Thoir on Arranmore Island, County Donegal, Ireland, flying an Irish tricolour and a United States flag side by side. Arranmore was twinned with Beaver Island in October 2000, and the memorial commemorates the islanders who left Arranmore for Beaver Island in the wake of the Great Famine and later evictions.
